                 Let me first just say the cover is sooo cute!  LOL and on to the story...  Beyond the cover we meet Humpfree Camel.  He is unlike all the other camels who have humps, he sports a flat back.  He is sad about this and sets out to find his humps!  He tries on balloons, sandbags, boulders and more, in desperation.  Then he meets a man who changes his outlook....  Julia has quickly became one of my boy's favorite authors, and this latest book does not disappoint! Kids of all ages will fall in love with Humpfree Camel!  This book will be available for sale on Amazon.com beginning October 5th 2013.

Oven Onion Rings

sweet onions sliced, dust with flour, dip in unsweetened almond milk, then rolled in panko seasoned with smoked paprika, salt and pepper. bake on a un-greased baking sheet for 15 min at 450 degrees flip half way through cooking.

Smens Gourmet Scented Pens Review

          I was blessed to have won a giveaway at RecycleScene for a totally awesome set of Smens Gourmet Scented pens.  I received 10 pens all were black ink, however each had a different yummy scent!  Included were: wild berry, blueberry syrup, orange, juicy melon, passion fruit, mocha, tropical, lemon lime fizz, black cherry and cinnamon.  I can not stress enough how fantastic these smell!  But besides smelling great these pens work wonderfully for their intended use as well.  The ink is a nice rich shade of black and they flow very smoothly.  I am a total pen collector and I can honestly say these are a total gem in my collection!

          So they are pretty cool but the best thing about these pens is that they are made of recycled materials!! Here is an excerpt from the Smencil Website for a more detailed explanation:
 " We roll sheets of recycled newspaper to form cylinders that serve as the bodies of the pens. Then the cylinders are hardened and soaked in our gourmet liquid scents (made by an award winning fragrance company). Once they’re dry, we assemble the pens- including the pen caps that identify the scent of each Smen. Lastly, we put each Smen into its own corn-based biodegradable Freshness Tube."
 So my advice is if you love pens get you some  Smens!!!

Bare Bones Body Care Review

I won the Bare Bones give away through Eco-Vegan Gal's Blog!  So I thought I would let you know how I liked the products I received.  I was a little nervous as I am any time I try new products since I have very sensitive skin and rosacea.  However my worries were unfounded!  I recieved cleanser, toner, moisturizer and lip moisturizers, and they are all FANTASTIC!  And packaged in Glass not crummy plastic with awesome skull labels!  My favorites was the witch hazel & lemon toner and the peppermint lip moisturizer!  My skin felt so clean and fresh after using this line and my rosacea has even improved.  Also the products are made of all natural, vegan, cruelty free ingredients which make me feel great about using and recommending them to others!  I will definitely order more products from Bare Bones!

I was sent a sample pack of the Total Nutrition Formula.   I made a smoothie out of it with cherries, peaches and almond milk.  I was really afraid to try it since I usually hate green shakes.  However the taste was pretty neutral like they promised.  I also did feel a bit of an energy boost after using it.  Over all it is a great product one I will use again for sure.

Book Review Intimate Surrender

          I am a lover of historical romances so I was super eager to get my hands on this book An Author Laura Landon did not disappoint! Laura introduces you to Miss. Hannah Bartlet a stunning woman who has rose above a horrific childhood and terrible rape by of all people a man of the cloth to become a successful London business woman. While visiting her friends in the countryside with her friends Caroline and Grace, she meets Rafe Waterford. He is charming, funny and handsome! Hannah immediately feels drawn to him even though she thinks herself incapable of love and undeserving of such emotions. Rafe shares the same feelings but to a much stronger degree and sets forth to woo and court Hannah. Sounds great right? Well problem is Hannah is not only Hannah but also the famous Madame Genovieve and her successful business happens to be a high end bordello. And Rafe is not only Rafe but a Vicar and man of faith, obviously God has a sense of humor. Will Hannah be able to see passed Rafe's calling? Will Rafe understand and see Hannah's incredible good works and tender heart? Will true love conquer all?
I read this book in one setting as it was addicting, beautiful and very well written! I would recommend it to any historical romance fans!
